Studio FAQs

  • We operate 7 days a week between 8am-10pm. We can accommodate bookings outside of these hours upon request.

  • We offer free cancellations up to 24 hours before the start of your booking

  • Our studio is located on 4th floor of our building. Guests arrive via the stairwell.

  • Yes, we can operate the building's freight elevator for your production's load in/ load out. The freight elevator opens directly to the sidewalk on Boerum St. Freight can only be operated by Boerum Studios staff and must be requested prior to your booking.

  • While our windows allow natural light into the space, it also allows the ambient sound from the neighborhood in as well. We are located in an industrial section of Williamsburg, Brooklyn with commercial neighbors active during the week. We can not guarantee a sound-tight location during the weekdays. However, it is easy to find quiet in our space on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • We have a set of Venetian blinds on the east-facing windows, and a set of white blinds on the south-facing windows. This can help limit direct sunlight, however we do not have the ability to completely black out the studio currently.

  • Yes, high-speed gigabit wifi reaches across the entire studio.

  • We allow all furniture in the space to be moved under two conditions: 1) the furniture needs to be picked up, not dragged, as our floors scratch easily. 2) It must be returned to its original position prior to your booking end.
